Build and save a reusable verification workflow
Design a process once, with forms, documents and checks, save it as a Workspace template, and send it the same way every time.
Who it is for: Owners, admins and members of a UMNIII Verify Workspace.
The problem
Rebuilding the same request in email or a messaging app for every customer means different questions each time, missing documents, and nothing to show afterwards. Designing it once in Verify and reusing it gives every customer the same process.
Keep in mind
- A template is a composition, not a verification: what each part establishes is what that part establishes.
Step 1: Start from a template, or from scratch
- Open the Dashboard in UMNIII Verify. “Send verification invite” is the composer. In “Start from a template”, choose a UMNIII template or one of your Workspace’s, or leave it on “Compose from scratch”.
- Applying a template fills in the composer and sends nothing. “Clear selection” detaches it without undoing what it filled in.
Step 2: Add your forms
- Tick “Collect information (forms)” and choose the forms: the UMNIII forms, and “Your forms” once your Workspace has some.
Step 3: Add documents and instructions
- Tick “Request documents”, choose each document, write its instructions, and mark it optional where the recipient may not have it.
Step 4: Choose the checks
- Tick “Verify identity” and any additional check your process genuinely needs. Only checks that are available can be ticked, and each shows its current price.
- A residential records check asks for the person’s country of residence, from the countries offered.
Step 5: Read the cost
- The composer’s quote shows what is charged when you send: the fixed cost of the requirements and checks you ticked.
- Business verification is different: a temporary hold is placed when you send, and the final charge follows the checks that complete. The quote shows the hold separately.
Step 6: Save it as a Workspace template
- Once the composition is right, an owner, admin or member of the Workspace presses “Save as template”, gives it a name and, optionally, a description.
- From then on it appears in “Start from a template” beside the UMNIII templates. Choosing it fills in the request, every part stays editable for that one request, and choosing a template sends nothing on its own.
- To adapt a UMNIII template, choose it and press “Copy to this Workspace”. The copy is yours to change; the original is unchanged.
- A saved template is not edited in place. To change one, apply it, adjust the composition and save it again under a new name.
- Your Workspace’s own and copied templates are listed under Other / General in the credit calculator inside UMNIII Verify.
Templates, forms and guides
- UMNIII system template
- A ready-made workflow that UMNIII provides. It is labelled UMNIII in the product, and your Workspace cannot change it.
- Workspace template
- A workflow someone in your Workspace has saved for reuse. It belongs to your Workspace.
- Copied template
- A UMNIII template copied into your Workspace so it can be adapted. The copy is yours and the original is unchanged.
- Reusable information form
- A set of questions your Workspace writes once and attaches to any request or template.
- Workflow guide
- An explanation like these pages. A guide is not a template: unless it says a UMNIII template is available, it describes a setup you build yourself.
